March 27, 2024 - Introducing Custom Categories and Transaction Rules
We're excited to roll out one of our most anticipated updates: Custom Categories and Transaction Rules. This feature allows you to personalize your transaction management like never before, enhancing both past and future transaction handling.
Tailor Your Financial Tracking
Customize With Ease: Now, you can click on any transaction to edit its category or name directly from your transaction list. This immediate customization allows you to organize and recognize your transactions more intuitively.
Set Rules That Work for You: After customizing a transaction, you can establish a rule that automatically applies these changes to all similar transactions, both past and future. This means any new transactions with the same name will automatically be categorized according to your preferences, saving you time and ensuring consistency across your financial data.
Create Your Own Categories: Beyond the predefined categories, you can now create your own. Choose an emoji and color to represent each custom category, making them visually distinct and easy to track at a glance.
Why This Matters: These enhancements stem from your feedback requesting more flexibility in how transactions are categorized and managed. By implementing these features, we aim to provide a more personalized and efficient way to handle your finances, giving you greater control over how your financial data is organized and displayed.
Getting Started: To begin using these new features, simply go to any transaction detail in your account and you'll see options to edit the transaction or add a rule. Custom categories can be added through the settings menu, where you can also manage your personal preferences for emojis and colors.
We're thrilled to see how these new capabilities will improve your financial management experience. As always, we encourage your feedback to help us continue refining and expanding our services to meet your needs.
